This is about the dialogue of confronting someone about being abusive or manipulative towards you and having them tell you that you are wrong. It is so important that we remember to listen to each other, and validate a person when they are telling you that you have been abusive towards them, even if it is painful.
lyrics
It’s not what you say
It’s how you’ve been saying it to me
I’ve spent years of my life wishing good on nothing
And you think your right?
That I am misbehaved
I’m damaged
From all the words you say
You’ve got no right
I’ve got riverbeds (of scars)
Crawling up my arms
You’ve got a mouth that spits
Nothing but malice and charm
You think your right
That you’re not this way
I’m damaged
From all the words that slay
You’ve got no right
